Humanitarian initiative just Relief Aid (HIJRA) is an international African humanitarian and development organization that positively contributes towards improving the living standards and condition of those adversely affected by disasters and conflict in the Horn of Africa by implementing Health, Education, Livelihoods and Was programmes in the region for the past two decades.

 

HIJRA is undertaking a process to pre-qualify all its vendors, contractors and services providers in order to streamline its procurement procedures.

 

All reputable and established firms are invited to submit their applications for the provision of the following item and service categories:

1.       Company profile, which should include registration documentation (Legal and Tax Compliance) and portfolio of existing work and demonstrated capacity

2.       Standard price list for the products regularly supplied by the company

3.       Singed application form.

 No reference to prices can be made.  The WEP is not bound to make explanations on queries made after the date shown below.  WFP reserves the right to reject any or all bids without providing any reasons and has no obligation to accept any offer made.  WFP also reserves the right to keep its election and selection criteria confidential.  Furthermore, bids not strictly adhering to the tender conditions may not be considered by WFP, whose decision on the matter shall be final.

 

Viewing and biding for the items will be held at the WFP warehouse offices at Gigiri Shopping Centre, along Limuru Road on 17/05/2012 between 9. 00 am and 12. 00 pm.  A down payment of 10% of the total amount quoted to be submitted with the bid, this will be refunded if unsuccessful.  Winning bids will be notified by phone on 21/05/2012.  Full cash payments and collection of the items must be done on the same day, 22/05/2012.
